On June 16, Palazzo Pallavicini kicks off the summer season with the exhibition True Stories by Giuseppe Veneziano, curated by Valerio Dehò. The exhibition, open to the public from Friday to Sunday until September 18, 2022, is organized by Pallavicini srl, led by Chiara Campagnoli, Deborah Petroni, and Rubens Fogacci. This major retrospective showcases the ultrapop universe of Giuseppe Veneziano, characterized by an ironic and provocative approach to the contradictions of contemporary reality. The ‘true stories’ told by the artist reveal the false myths and weaknesses of our society, with the biting irony and irreverence that have always defined his style. The truth, often hidden beneath hypocrisy, conventions, and power dynamics, emerges, and the exhibition will also feature incursions into art history, from Goya to Raphael.
